Buck-Boost DC-DC converter
The Buck-Boost DC-DC converter is a DC converter designed to charge a 12/24 V service battery in vehicles fitted with a smart alternator. Since, when the engine is running, these alternators — controlled by the on-board electronics of Euro 5 and 6 engines — do not always deliver the correct charging current, a DC-DC converter is essential to charge the service battery correctly.
