Snubbing chain (secondary chain)

Short link chain (also called "daughter chain") is a non-calibrated marine chain, mainly used for anchoring, moorings and marking buoys, without requiring a windlass. It is generally made of hot-dip galvanised steel for better corrosion resistance in the marine environment. General characteristics of short link chains: Available diameters: from 6 mm to 14 mm. Material: Hot-dip galvanised steel for optimum protection against corrosion. Packaging: in a drum.
