3M™ 769F flap discs

Better performing than traditional flap discs based on alumina and zirconia, our discs feature 3M™ precision shaped grain technology. This abrasive continually fractures into sharp points that cut cleanly through metal, unlike traditional abrasives which tend to shred the substrate. This continuous fracturing, combined with the breakdown of the individual flaps to expose fresh grain, delivers a high and constant cut rate throughout the life of the disc. Combined with their conformability, the polyester backing further improves their durability, allowing them to withstand high pressure applications such as chamfering, weld grinding and edge deburring. In addition, they leave a finish that makes them an ideal choice for applications such as blending and surface preparation.
