Windex wind indicator
Used all over the world, these wind indicators are precision instruments, designed specifically to give a reliable indication of the apparent wind. • Performance – The calibrated arrow has low inertia, a large vane and a low-friction sapphire-type suspension. These qualities allow it to indicate winds from 0.1 metres per second. • Practical – The fixed tabs make it possible to decide to the degree when it is necessary to tack. They use the human eye's specific sensitivity to optical asymmetry. • Visible night and day – The arrow and the tabs reflect light, which makes reading easy in bright light as well as in low light. - PRECISION The suspension makes it possible to detect winds from as little as 2 tenths of a knot. - EASY TO READ The large arrow offers low inertia and great ease of reading. - RESISTANT Durable, the wind indicators have been tunnel-tested in winds of more than 80 knots! - VISIBLE The reflective strips make it possible to spot it at night.
