Eye chain shackles
The Kong stainless steel anchoring shackle is specially designed to make it easy to connect a second anchor to the main chain without reducing its strength. Made of 316 stainless steel, this shackle offers excellent corrosion resistance in the marine environment. Main features: Material: Cast 316 stainless steel, guaranteeing strength and durability. System: Captive pin with a patented design, ensuring safe and practical use. Compatibility: For chains of 6 to 8 mm diameter: working load of 700 kg and breaking load of 2,500 kg. For chains of 10 to 12 mm diameter: working load of 1,500 kg and breaking load of 5,000 kg. This shackle also makes it easy to attach a line to the chain and to take the tension laterally, thus reducing snatching and stabilising the boat at anchor.
