Mastervolt Battery Mate

On-board installations generally include at least two independent batteries powering 12 or 24 V equipment. These batteries require independent charging with reliable isolators or battery couplers. Mastervolt offers several intelligent solutions: Charge splitters that divide the charging current with minimum energy loss. The Charge Mate to connect and/or disconnect two batteries. The Battery Watch to monitor the condition of your batteries (also usable as a main switch). Battery Mate charge splitters with negligible voltage drop Whereas BI charge splitters are conventional diode splitters, Battery Mate technology incorporates electronics and includes MOSFETs (transistors). These components compensate for the voltage drop and ensure that charging continues at the correct voltage level, even with several battery banks. The Battery Mate is compatible with all types of charger/alternator, whether for a new or an existing system. As the voltage loss between the alternator and the battery is negligible, the Battery Mate has higher efficiency than conventional splitters. It ensures fast and full charging of your batteries with no adjustment required on the alternator. Charging two or three batteries with high capacity The Battery Mate is best suited to charging several batteries, possibly with various makes of alternator, even if their charging voltage cannot be adjusted. It can charge two or three batteries with very high efficiency and without voltage loss. The 1602/1603 models are suitable for alternators with a maximum charging current of 160 amps; the Mastervolt Battery Mate is ideal for alternators with a maximum charging current of 250 amps. Clear monitoring Safety guaranteed: the Battery Mate's LED display indicates whether the power input is active. Robust and durable Fully corrosion-resistant material with an aluminium heat sink; the electronic components are encapsulated in synthetic materials. Quick installation The synthetic end plates carry the terminals, and the sturdy threaded connectors with nuts and lock washers ensure easy installation.
