Mastervolt Charge Mate units automatically connect two batteries during the charging phase, while isolating them from each other once charging is complete. This management ensures a reliable power supply while protecting each battery according to its specific needs. Charge Mate 1202 & 2502 These compact models are ideal for small installations. They provide an automatic connection between the batteries as soon as the charging voltage is detected, without any significant voltage drop. Once charging is complete, or if the voltage drops, the batteries are isolated again, preventing any mutual discharge. Rated current: 120 A (Charge Mate 1202) / 250 A (Charge Mate 2502) Operating voltage: 12/24 V DC Automatic control by voltage sensing Low standby consumption Simple and compact installation Charge Mate Pro 40/90 The Charge Mate Pro goes further by integrating active current management. It limits the charging current to the auxiliary battery to 40 A or 90 A depending on the model, thereby ensuring that the main battery is charged first. This also helps preserve the stability of the on-board electrical system by avoiding voltage drops on sensitive consumers.
