BOW PRO BOOSTED electro-hydraulic thruster

At the top of its advanced range of thrusters, VETUS offers the BOW PRO Boosted (BOWB) series, innovative and remarkably different from existing thrusters. All the features of the incredible BOW PRO with a bonus! A third connection on the motor supplies an internal charger which also converts 12V into 24V, allowing a 12V power source, such as the alternator, to recharge a 24V battery bank. Connecting the BOW PRO Boosted directly to 24V is of course also possible. The built-in charger recharges your batteries when the thruster is not in use, which gives you a double advantage in having this BOW PRO Boosted on your boat. The recommended battery sizing for the BOW PRO thrusters is slightly larger than for the conventional range, in order to take full advantage of the efficiency of the motors and the extended running time of these thrusters.
