Roving fabric for lamination
Polyester resin laminates are most often produced by combining chopped strand mat and glass cloth. Epoxy resin laminates are also produced with this combination. The layered assembly of epoxy resin and glass cloth is perfectly optimised. Glass cloth is used in the marine industry for producing lightweight parts. * Laminating resin consumption: approx. 160 g/m² for a layer thickness of 0.2 mm (160 gsm cloth) * Laminating resin consumption: approx. 300 g/m² for a layer thickness of 0.3 mm (300 gsm cloth)
