H20E hydrostatic release for EPIRB beacon

In the event of immersion between 1.50 and 4 metres, the H20E release unit activates automatically and releases the EPIRB beacon, which rises to the surface and transmits the identification signal and the position of the vessel in distress. It requires neither inspection nor maintenance and is replaced every 2 years. Hammar H20E hydrostatic release units are approved worldwide, meet the requirements of the SOLAS 74/96 Convention, Resolution III/4 LSA Code, IMO Res. MSC 48(66), IMO Res.
