LOCTITE® 577 is designed for the locking and sealing of metal threaded pipes and fittings, as well as other threaded assemblies. The product provides an instant low-pressure seal for metal pipes and fittings. It does not loosen, does not shrink and does not crack. It has excellent chemical and thermal resistance and prevents migration into the fluid after application to the part. Medium-strength, general-purpose metal thread sealant. Suitable for all metals. Immediate low-pressure sealing. Excellent chemical resistance. Locks fittings, preventing loosening induced by vibration and other stresses. Easy to apply. Cures on active and passive metals. Complies with NSF P1 certification No. 123001. DVGW approval (EN 751-1): DVGW No. NG-5146CQ0312.
