LOCTITE® 248 is a medium-strength threadlocker for general use. It comes in an easy-to-use stick form. It secures and seals bolts, nuts and studs to prevent them from loosening due to vibration. The product is suitable for all metals, including passive substrates (e.g. stainless steel, aluminium, plated surfaces). It is designed to tolerate slight contamination by industrial oils (e.g. engine oil, anti-corrosion solutions or cutting fluids). The stick format avoids drips. Prevents the loosening of assemblies under vibration stress such as screws on pumps, gearbox housings or presses. Suitable for all metals, including passive substrates (e.g. stainless steel, aluminium, plated surfaces). Designed to tolerate slight contamination by industrial oils (e.g. engine oil, anti-corrosion solutions or cutting fluids). Allows disassembly with hand tools.
